I am trying to raise money to go to Washington D.C. next spring with a group of kids from my school. We will be traveling around and learning about American History first-hand. I think this will be a once in a lifetime opportunity to help me grasp history in a different and interactive way.
Some of the places I will get to experience will be Jamestown, Colonial Williamsburg, Mount Vernon, The Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, and the White House.
I am looking for ways to raise money to fund this trip. I would be happy to do any odd-jobs that any of you might have for me. I will also be doing various fundraisers throughout the rest of the year. And donations are always welcome!
